Hello there! I am dahanese - also known as Elizabeth Tobey, or Tobey, or Tobes, or e (depending on how few syllables you can tolerate.) I'm a native East Coaster, transported to the Bay area for work. From 2006 until May 2012 I was the head of Community and Customer Service at 2K Games and I am now the Director of Community at Trion Worlds.

Beyond work (which is, in all honesty, most of my life) and my love of video games, I also have a slightly obsessive fascination with statistics and Runkeeper, so I jog quite a bit. I cook a lot (and am pretty darned good at it if I do say so myself) and I have a menagerie of animals: two cats, Miso and Sake, and a miniature long haired dachshund named Pancake. (My love of cooking is not the reason I named my animals after food products, although if that were the case, it would probably be a better explanation than the real story.) I live in San Francisco with my husband, Mike, who somehow still tolerates me, even after all these years.

As for the pumpkin: I carved it once, a long time ago, and someone later saw it and said that it was the embodiment of me within a pumpkin. So, there's that.
